Safety first

No guarantee of safety

Live video chat involves real-time interaction with strangers. We cannot guarantee your physical or emotional safety, the behavior of other users, or that moderation will prevent all harmful content. You are responsible for deciding whether to participate, what to share, and when to end a session. See our Terms of service for disclaimers and limitations of liability.

We design Chimpo with safety in mind: age requirements, reporting paths, moderation policies, and technical measures. We maintain age gates, account controls, reporting paths, and enforcement processes to help reduce abuse and respond quickly to serious issues.

Not an emergency service

Chimpo is not a replacement for emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline that serves your area. Do not rely on us for real-time crisis intervention.

If something goes wrong

Use skip and block controls, leave the session, and report serious issues through support. Preserve evidence where safe and legal to do so. In cases of criminal conduct, contact law enforcement.

Parents & teens

Chimpo is an adult-only service and is not directed to children or teens. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you are legally an adult in your jurisdiction and meet the minimum age required by applicable law. In many countries this is typically 18+, but some jurisdictions set a higher threshold. If you are below the legal age of majority where you live, you may not use Chimpo.

If a parent, guardian, or user believes an underage person has used Chimpo, contact us immediately through Contact. We may suspend or terminate the account, investigate, and remove related data where required by law and our retention obligations.

Law enforcement

We may preserve and disclose information when required by law or to protect safety. Law enforcement requests should follow the process described in Contact and Privacy policy.
